The American University of Kuwait (AUK) is a private, accredited, liberal arts university located in Salmiya, Kuwait. Established in 2003, AUK is the first and only non-profit independent institution of higher education in Kuwait offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs. AUK admits students from all over the world who possess a variety of backgrounds and interests. The student body currently consists of approximately 1,000 students from more than 20 countries including Kuwait, USA, India, Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
